1. Does the camera support continuous recording?
The 4G solar pan tilt camera does not support continuous recording. It is only used for on-demand monitoring. The camera will work when a motion is detected or user initiates a live view in the app.
2. What’s the operating temperature of this camera?
-10-50 ℃ / 14-122℉. Freezing weather will affect battery working efficiency.
PIR motion detection works best between -10-37 ℃ / 14-98.6℉.
3. Does the camera work with WiFi connection?
No, it only supports 4G LTE cellular network connection. WiFi connection is NOT supported.
4. How long will batteries last if the camera is not charged due to bad weather?
The 4G solar powered security camera will last for about one month with fully charged battery, given that the camera is waken up by motion detection less than 20 times a day.
5. Does the camera support any third party apps?
No, the 4G LTE cellular outdoor camera only supports Kassa Security app that can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play.
6. What capacity of the Micro SD card does the camera support?
The IP66 outdoor security camera supports the max 256GB Micro SD card. Please note that TF card needs to be purchased separately.
7. I want to use my own SIM, so which SIM card operator does this camera support?
It supports AT&T, T-Mobile and Verzion network, or any virtual operators that are based on one of the above three network.
8. What will the data plan cost if I use the SIM card that comes in the camera package?
For 1GB, $9.99 with 30 days validity.
For 3GB, $19.99 with 30 days validity.
For 6GB, $59.99 with 360 days validity.

9. How much data is normally consumed per month?
There are 2 scenarios that consume data, one is that camera is triggered by movements, the other is that user initiates live view from phone app.
For the first scenario, with cloud subscription, one trigger will consume around 1MB-2MB data, and every video uploaded to cloud storage will consume around 3-5MB data; without cloud subscription, one trigger will consume very little data, which is no more than 5KB.
For the second scenario, 1-minute live view will consume 5MB data.
Let's say if you have 20 times trigger and 2 minutes live view per day, you will consume around 30MB data, thus 1GB is enough per month.
Note : 1GB=1024MB, 1MB=1024KB
